Philip M. Burlington

Philip M. Burlington is a founding partner of Burlington & Rockenbach. He is a Board Certified appellate attorney whose practice has encompassed over 700 appeals over more than thirty years, including trial level preparation and assistance. From 1979 to 1981, Mr. Burlington served as a law clerk to Senior U.S. District Judge Charles B. Fulton and U.S. District Judge James C. Paine, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Additionally, from 1981 to 1985, he served as a law clerk to Senior U.S. District Judge William J. Campbell, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Since 1998, Mr. Burlington has served as Chairman of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers’ Amicus Curiae Committee and is a member of its Board of Directors. Board Certified Appellate Practice Lawyer, Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education. Mr. Burlington is AV-rated by Martindale Hubbell and is a frequent lecturer on appellate topics at the state and local level.
